UTILISING NEW TECHNOLOGIES FOR MORE EFFECTIVE WASTE MANAGEMENT
There are two main Technology issues that Council would be asked to consider for more effective
Waste Management namely
A Biogas Digester and Scrubber systems to consume Waste and produce clean Energy
B "Blockchain" computer processes to manage and report on the outcomes of Waste Management
There could be a considerable return for Council and Ratepayers if Council is prepared to establish a
prototype system by 31 Jul 2019
As well as improved Waste Management processes for the Council and Ratepayers, this return could
include:
1 Royalties from licensing the Biogas Process to other National and International organisations
2 Royalties from licensing the "Blockchain" Management Process to other organisations
3 Royalties from establishing a "Blockchain" Training Hub

providing an indication of the potential opportunities of early involvement in "Blockchain" Education

A key statement in this report is on P54 which is the basis of the proposal for the "Inner West
Blockchain Hub" is
"Community leaders and end users would benefit from basic 'Blockchain literacy', or even a
broader understanding of what the technology is and how it works.
Growing the ICT talent pool in Australia may involve a combination of strategies focused on
education and training (e.g. developing new course offerings that assist existing workers
transition to the emerging Blockchain industry) and migration policies (e.g. incentives
designed to attract global talent)"
I look forward to meeting with you to discuss the Submission for Council to consider an involvement in
the proposed Biogas Sanitation project as part of a Blockchain Community Education program
