DATA INTEROPERABILITY STANDARDS

16:40 - 17:00	Review NSW Data Operability Standards

Data Interoperability Standards

The links below provide access to data standards which
support data interoperability and exchange of information
by NSW Government agencies.

Standards offer a common language enabling agencies to
appropriately share or compare data managed across
diverse systems.

The following are the current standards as at 06 Mar 2015

1	Standard Approach to Metadata (pdf)

2	Standard Approach to Information Architecture (pdf)

3	Standard for Customer Reference Data (pdf)

This Standard dictates the Name, Address and Contact Details
	for each Customer

The NSW CIT Governance Advisory Committee appear to have ignored the
findings in 2006 that Data Interoperability is dependant on the same
field identifiers for the detailed components of each address and contact

4	Standard for Spatially Enabling Information (pdf)

5	Standard for Human Services Classification (pdf)

6	Standard for Data Quality Reporting (pdf)
