SELECTION CRITERIA - KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - CTL

G-CTL	Capacity to lead staff in implementing the Department's Aboriginal 
	education and training policies and to ensure quality outcomes for 
	Aboriginal people.

I believe that I have the capacity to lead staff in implementing the Department's 
Aboriginal education and training policies and to ensure quality outcomes for 
Aboriginal people 

As I have stated earlier in this response I consider Computer Based Learning [CBL] 
and Computer Based Training [CBT] could have a major impact in assisting to ensure 
quality outcomes for Aboriginal people particularly in remote regions

However a number of issues have to be consider such as:

1	How to get Power to remote communities

2	What incentive is there for them to learn

This is where OIC Community Projects can contribute such as the ePedal Power project 
whereby like Radio Schools for the Air, Pedal Power is used to drive generators for 
computer system

In addition the OIC eCredits system could also be considered to encourage active, 
regular participation not only in Pedal Power but also for learning and training
