SELECTION CRITERIA - KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Project Management is playing an increasing important role in many fields including
Teaching and Education.

These are the Selection Criteria and the responses for the position of "NSW Director
of ITD Project Management" published on 15 Nov 2013

A-EHL	Extensive high level leadership experience in a Project Management Office (PMO), 
	managing a variety of multi-disciplinary programs and projects using established 
	project management methodologies/processes

B-ERM	Experience in risk management and the ability to apply risk management principles 
	in an ITD environment

C-HLU	High level understanding of, and successful experience in, quality assurance, 
	continuous quality improvement and change management processes

D-PAT	Proven ability to successfully lead and manage staff to create an effective team 
	in a high-volume environment

E-HDI	Highly developed interpersonal skills, including a high degree of personal integrity 
	and credibility, with demonstrated ability to build strong/constructive relationships 
	using high level negotiation, consultation and business analysis skills to foster 
	productive relations with a diverse range of internal and external clients

F-HLP	High level planning, conceptual, interpretative, analytical and problem solving skills 
	to interpret and implement a wide range of legislative requirements and to develop 
	innovative solutions and address specific challenges, and

G-CTL	Capacity to lead staff in implementing the Department's Aboriginal education and 
	training policies and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
