"Blockchain" applications are appearing in many industries 

This may be the reason that the European Commission [EC] has announced a new 
Challenge for 2019 called "Blockchains for Social Good" 

The Prize for this challenge is 5 winners of Euro 1,000,000 each

The timetable to submit an application is

	1	16 May 2018 - contest opens
	2	02 Apr 2019 - deadline for registration of interest - NOT MANDATORY
	3 	03 Sep 2019 - deadline to submit applications

	DRAFT MOU FOR EC-BSG REFUGEE SANITATION CONSTRUCTION JOINT-VENTURE 

Further to our meeting Mon 08 Apr 2019 please find attached a draft Memorandum of 
Understanding [MoU] for a Refugee Sanitation Construction project for your consideration

As Mon 22 Apr 2019 is Easter Monday I am proposing we meet again on Mon 29 Apr 2019 to 
review and agree the MoU to be able to meet the criteria for the EC-BSG Challenge

There may be a number of topics in this MoU that are worthy of consideration as a PhD 
Thesis for Samu and Amer  

The key issues of the MoU are:

	B	Purpose of Joint-Venture
	C	Obligations of the Partners
	F	Liability

NEXT STEPS

Please confirm if we can meet on Mon 22 Apr 2019 at the Kingswood Campus to discuss this 
MoU

In the meantime please advise of any changes to the MoU
