INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS ETHICS - WHAT IS GOOD GOVERNANCE ?

Around 09:15 Tue 31 Jan 2006 Virginia TRIOLI of ABC 702 interviewed Bruce HAY a retired
Diplomat about the $ 300,000,000 possible Breach of UN Sanctions payment by the Australian
Wheat Board to the Iraq Government.

Mr HAY apparently said words to the effect that "if you want to get international business you
have to be prepared to pay to win the business.

Bi-lateral Free Trade Agreements like the Australia-USA Free Trade Agreement [Aus-USA FTA]
rather than Multi-lateral Trade Agreement are more likely to operate on the basis of Bribery
& Corruption as separate deals will be negotiated for each country and commodity"

A transcript has been requested from the ABC for the exact wording.

Is the scene now being set for a series of "negotiations" with APEC delegates over the next 18
months ?

In addition on 22 Jan 2006 George GREEN former Washington Insider revealed during a Greg
SZYMANSKI Broadcast that the Global 2000 Report commissioned by President CARTER in 1980 was
"discussed as a mass genocidal plan to drastically reduce to the world's population, eventually
endorsed as official U.S. policy during the Carter administration".

As the Australian Government has published several tenders for "Market based Instruments [MBI]
for Natural Resource Management eg

A 2006/01/20 Department of Agriculture - "Funding for MBI Program Round 2"

B 2005/08/20 Department of the Prime Minister & Cabinet - "National Water Trading Market"

C 2005/02/23 Department of Agriculture - "Research Third Party access in the Water Industry"

perhaps it is timely to review the implications of the Global 2000 Report for Good Governance
of International Business Ethics.

These issues will be initially reviewed as an eSeminar - any papers provided will be posted on
the Seminar Web-site.
