On Tue 04 Mar 2088 KSAS-2088 was not allowed to ask written questions and was evicted for stating that the Council was in breach of the NSW Local Government Act 1993 - Statutory Declaration re 04 Mar 2008 On Fri 29 Feb 2008 the Australian Rugby Union [ARU] published a new Member Protection Policy [MPP] that included extensive State Child Protection policy protection issues. On Fri 08 Feb 2008 the KSAS-2088 Management Committee prepared a letter for the Mayor explaining why the Council had been given a revised invoice Au$ 23,086.26 for the Parents' research time and costs. In addition it was agreed that KSAS-Au contacts in the various states would be asked to check the links on all the documentation photocopied and distributed to Mosman Council and its Councillors. The Council has repeatedly stated "it is not our responsibility" even though this article SMH article 27 Aug 2006 "Child Protection forms are signed, sealed and ignored" confirmed why KSAS-Au Parents took action in the first place. Although the Council informed us that it had changed its policy on 27 Sep 2007, it still refused to acknowledge that the Council has a Duty-of-Care to assist Local Junior Clubs to comply with the Child Protection Legislation and conduct checks on Volunteers.
