SUMMARY OF EC-BSG H2020 CHALLENGE On 16 May 2018 the European Commission [EC] announced a Challenge called "H2020 Blockchains for Social Good [BSG]" This H2020 Challenge had the following prizes and deadlines: The Prize for this challenge is 5 winners of Euro 1,000,000 (Approx Au$ 1.6 M) each The timetable to submit an application is 1 16 May 2018 - contest opens 2 02 Apr 2019 - deadline for registration of interest (Not Mandatory) 3 03 Sep 2019 - deadline to submit applications The Rules for the H2020 Contest have been placed On-line here to illustrate some of the great benefits of documentation being On-line rather than PDF files that have to be downloaded and stored to be reviewed The great benefits on On-line documentation include 1 Ability to advertise local tourism and SME web-sites 2 Far easier to review On-line documentation 3 Far easier to cross-reference issues 4 Automatic Indexing and filing of documents 5 Coding and indexing each section, paragraph and sentence In early Oct 2018, the OIC SAN Crypto-currencies and Blockchain Special Interest Group submitted a proposal to make a submission to the H2020 Challenge based on the research carried out for the UNDP Zambia Refugee project and the On-line Application which won 1st prize in the "IT for Small & Medium Businesses [SMEs]" Category of the Global Bangemann Challenge The King of Sweden presented the Trophy for this On-line cloud-based application for Resource Asset Management Program [RAMP] to 3 OIC members in Stockholm The program was developed as OIC Y2K RAMP ro assist SMEs to show their Clients and Suppliers that they had carried out Y2K Remediation processes and was designed to be an On-line Resource Assist Management process after the Y2K issue had been addressed OIC Y2K RAMP was developed using a Blockchain methodology called the "Rational Universal Business Automation Code [RUBACTM]" which had been researched and prototyped by Halisa Pty Ltd 1984-1987 In 1987 like Blockchain is now, the buzz technology was "Electronic Data Interchange [EDI]" In Sep 1987 the Australian Government commissioned the US Yankee Group to prepared a report called "EDI in Australia" The Yankke Group reviewed RUBAC and wrote "RUBAC is way beyond EDI" Now that Data61, IBM and Herbert, Smith Freehills [HSF] have released their "Australian National Blockchain [ANB]" for contract management, it is may be an appropriate time to compare how RUBAC can greatly assist with Contract Management in this Blockchain Application submission to the EC-BSG H2020 ChallengeHome | Theme | Prizes | Admissibility | Eligibility | Award Criteria | Documents | Procedure | Other Conditions | Contact | Disclaimer | Copyright Project Minutes | Blockchain SIG | Blockchain TED Videos | IBM Blockchain for Diamond Ind | RUBAC Video | RUBAC Projects | Disclaimer | Copyright
