Hi Srinath
CAN WE MEET MON 08 APR 2019 TO REVIEW PROJECT ISSUES
My apologise for the delay in responding to your reply email Tue 19 Mar 2019 as I was away
without access to any telecommunications and working on projects
Would it be possible to meet with you at the Kingswood Campus prior to attending 1 of our
meetings say 1 pm or 2 pm Mon 08 Apr 2019 or 1pm or 2pm Mon 15 Apr 2019 ?
I respond to your issues in the email
A H2020 Projects require a Partner in the EU
B Importance of Small & Medium-size Businesses for "Blockchain" projects
C Establishing a H2020 Construction Projects
A H2020 PROJECTS NEED PARTNER IN EU
"But, my understanding is that H2020 projects needs a EU partner"
We have a Project Partner already in the European Union since our involvement with
Electronic Data Interchange [EDI] conferences since 1987
In 1988 we were fortunate to receive over 15 letters of support for the RUBAC EII
Methodology from proponents of EDI at Compact'88 including Maritime Cargo Processing who
really appreciate the concept of RUBAC as an "electronic communication and filing system"
In May 1988 a key letter was received from Alain BELLEGO Chief of Trade Facilitation and
Standardization Section UN/ECE re the importance of understanding the Standards involved
with eBusiness particularly for Small and Medium-size Enterprises [SMEs] to benefit from
eCommerce
B IMPORTANCE OF SMEs AND SMBs FOR "BLOCKCHAIN" PROJECTS
From 1987-1989 I represented the Australian Small Business Association [ASBA] on the
Standards Australia EDI IS/11 Committee , then the Open Interchange Consortium [OIC] on
The National Y2K Committee 1998-2000 and the ebXML Australia Forum from 2000-2002
In 1999 OIC members won the 1st prize in the "IT for SME" Category of the prestigious
Global Bangemann Challenge with a Y2K Compliance process where the prizes are presented
by the King of Sweden
The OIC On-line Resource Asset Management Program [RAMP] may be very relevant to the
Small and Medium-size Businesses in the Construction Industry
C ESTABLISHING A H2020 "CONSTRUCTION" PROJECT
Our experiences over the last 12-moths with these On-line projects has resulted in the
following process to establish a H2020 project for around $ 50,000 to cover the research
already conducted and further project costs
Ideally we believe that a H2020 Project will require 5 key project sponsors to assist
with the financial development costs and then the marketing cost of the outcome
1 Membership as a Project Sponsor $ 10,000
2 Membership as a Project Participant $ 20,000
3 A Project Participant can appoint 3 people to work on the project
4 The Sponsors & Participating Members received long-term Intellectual
Property Royalties [IPRs] for licence of finished project for 25-years
NEXT STEPS
Please advise if we can meet on either Mon 08 Apr or Mon 15 Apr 2019 at the Kingswood
Campus to discuss further details of your H2020 Construction project
Regards
Stephen GOULD
