Australia is chairing the International Standards Organisation group developing standards for blockchains and other distributed ledgers 165 F Relatively strong institutional adoption and collaboration, either between companies or public-private sector partnerships. For instance, Australian banks are working with distributed ledger start-up Ripple 166 the Australian Government has partnered with IBM to develop blockchain solutions the Queensland Government is working with TravelbyBit to open the market for digital currency tourism,167 c HSF, DATA61 & IBM FORM "AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL BLOCKCHAIN [ANB]" The meeting review some of the 185 References and in particular Reference 183 Herbert Smiths Freehills[ HSF], Data61 and IBM create consortium to deliver smart legal contracts on blockchain to Australian businesses.
