	ARTICLES PUBLISHED IN NOV 2022 ON POWER ISSUES, CRYPTOS & CLIMATE CHANGE

Members of the OIC Sustainability Action Network [SAN] thought it may be helpful to
research the impact of Climate Change issues and Carbon Credits in overseas countries 
and provide a summary of articles published in November 2022 by the Australian Financial
Review [AFR], The Australian [Aus], Sydney Morning Herald [SMH], Daily Telegraph [DyT] 
and others

It is interesting to note that on.02 Nov 2022 the Legal firm Gilbert & Tobin published an 
article "Blockchain & Cryptocurrency Regulation 2023 about how Australia's approach to 
Blockchain and Cryptocurrency has, in part, been driven by the Commonwealth 
Government of Australia's (Government) overall approach to the financial technology 
(fintech) sector and its broad support for new and innovative financial services and products"

Could Carbon Credits be considered as a Cryptocurrency and hence Australian Councils are 
be purchasing a Cryptocurrency called Carbon Credits which at the moment are traded in 
London?

However what is of concern is The Australian article ALP warned against gas intervention 
published 28 Nov 2022 US Oil giant Conoco Phillips "has warned the Australian Government 
not to intervene in Australia's domestic gas market" 

Will our "domestic markets" be subjected to threats by multinational organisations ?

Indeed the Australian has a daily page called "Sign up to Daily News and tips on Emerging 
Stocks & Crypto"
