The Submission lodged on 30 Jun 2019 for the Inner West Council Environment Grant
can be reviewed here
SGG said we have received a very positive response from the Inner West Councillor who is
prepared to support our submission for a Joint-Venture to the Council
14:00 - 14:15 REVIEW DESIGN BIOGAS EQUIPMENT FOR PROJECT - NCP
NCP provided a number of diagrams and costs for the "Waste-to-Energy" Pilot including
A the Design and costs of a Mobile Biogas Digester prototype for Petersham Park Pilot site
B the Design of a Biogas Tank
C an example of a City Waste Recycling and Processing Plant
SGG said these documents will be upload on to the web-site for others to review
14:15 - 14:30 SCHEDULE "BIOGAS W-2-E" AWARENESS MEETINGS 2019-2020 - ATP
The initial dates to determine how many people are likely to turn up and thus the size
of the venues required will be considered after the initial meeting proposed at
Petersham Bowling Club in 2019
These initial meetings could be on the following dates at Petersham Bowling Club :

The response and turn-out to these 3 meetings will determine the types of venues
and the material to provide at the "Biogas Waste-to-Energy" Awareness meetings in 2020
14:30 - 14:45 RESEARCH INTO CONTENT FOR FLIERS - REA
REA had researched other Waste-to-Energy articles and provide some of these as
possible content for the fliers and letters for distribution
These included
2012 Vic City Council "Poo-Power" Grant of Au$ 45,000
In 2011-12 The City of Yarra gave $ 45,000 Grant to the Yarra Energy Foundation to
process dog waste and create Biogas as a renewable energy source"
SGG said this site should be contacted for their experiences
B 2018-01-01 Malvern Hills UK Dog Poo lights Local Street Lamps
This article confirmed that in 2018 an individual in the UK designed a Biogas
Waste-to-Energy system for just Dog Waste
Further research is being conducted
As yet no-one else appears to be considering other forms of food and vegetation
waste as part of the process
