NSW LOCAL GOV ASSOCIATIONS
In essence there are 2 separate Associations:
1 The Local Government Association of NSW which includes 77 local councils, 3 county councils and 8 waste boards; and
2 The Shires Association of NSW which includes 96 local councils and 15 county councils.
These Associations also have interests/relationships with:
1 Electricity & Gas Boards
3 more recently Telecommunications
