CONFIRMATION OFCONTRIBUTIONS FOR OIC EDCM PROJECT
This is confirmation of the services and resources provided for the Electronic Dangerous Cargo Management [EDCM] Application by members of the Open Interchange Consortium [OIC]. FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS The Office of Transport Security of the department of Transport and Regional Services [DOTARS] is prepared to provide $ 5,000 as a financial contribution to the administration of the Open Interchange Consortium [OIC] electronic infrastructure for the Electronic Dangerous Cargo Management [EDCM] project IN-KIND CONTRIBUTIONS The Office of Transport Security has facilitated a number of meetings of the Australian Logistics Committee to develop the Business Rules for Dangerous Cargo Management for all parties involved with Dangerous Cargo. Whilst a details of all the travel costs and management time have not maintained in a cost record it is a very conservative estimate that $ 50,000 is the contribution for event locations, travel time, meeting time and record time for ??? meetings between Sep 2003 and Sep 2004 The Office of Transport Security is prepared to arrange a series of seminars to promote Electronic Dangerous Cargo Management to all members of the Australian Transport Industry Committee as part of the In-Kind Contributions for 2004/2005 Yours sincerely Winton BROCKLEBANK Office of Transport Security DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT & REGIONAL SERVICES [DOTARS]
